ABOUT US
Eckhardt Trucking is a family-owned and operated trucking company headquartered in Lander, WY.
Founded in 1974 by Gene Eckhardt (or as we knew him, Papa Gene), Eckhardt Trucking has primarily served the Agricultural Industry by hauling livestock, hay, and farm/ranch equipment. Gene operated the business until the early 90s when he was ready to get out of the truck and enjoy being a grandpa.
In 2018, Nolan Eckhardt and his wife, Kelce, resurrected Eckhardt Trucking reestablishing the original DOT number that once graced the doors of his grandfather’s trucks. He brings 12+ years of driving experience, over a million miles, and a lifetime of dedication and respect to a business that once served as his inspiration to be, “just like grandpa.”
At the heart of it all is a family tradition that spans multiple generations. Nolan and Kelce are proud to follow in the footsteps of those that came before them. They strive to offer fast, dependable service that creates lasting relationships with ranchers, buyers, and all agriculture industry professionals alike.
While they build this company they are also busily raising their sons, Owen and Ivan, who share their father’s love of trucks, horses, and all things outdoors.

NOLAN ECKHARDT
CO-OWNER/DRIVER
Nolan was raised in the livestock industry learning much of what he knows well before he was old enough to cross state lines in a semi. In the past 12 years, he has hauled pigs, goats, sheep, wild horses, cattle, and countless tons of hay. Additionally, he has experience in both Heavy Highway Construction and Oil & Gas Industries.

KELCE ECKHARDT
CO-OWNER/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Kelce handles all of the business operations for Eckhardt Trucking. While you may not see her behind the wheel, she is the driving force at home making sure bills get paid and the books are balanced. She is an educator by trade and currently serves as the West Central Regional Facilitator for the Wyoming Early Childhood Professional Learning Collaborative.

OWEN & IVAN ECKHARDT
OPERATIONS MANAGERS
Owen & Ivan help keep all the trucks and trailers in tip-top shape while waiting to be tall enough to reach the gas pedal. Together they make sure the dogs and horses get their daily treats and cuddles. They rotate acceptance of Employee of the Month and while Owen currently holds the record for most consecutive months won, Ivan feels his winning streak is just around the corner.
